COMSYS DSM-11 SATELLITE FINDER / SIGNAL METER

The ComSys DSM-11 makes the installation and alignment of a satellite dish very easy. It is powered from the source device (e.g your satellite receiver or TV with built-in satellite tuner) so no power pack or batteries are needed.

It allows measurement of voltage on the coaxial cable and displays the current voltage and the voltage of polarization change, signal 22 kHz, Tone Burst.

It evaluates the signal strength of the LNB's output and the signal level is audible (acoustic signal tone) as well as displayed on the LED bar graph. Sensitivity may be adjusted with a dial potentiometer.

In addition, the following information can be obtained:

• LNB power consumption from 0-500 mA, with accuracy of ą 50 mA, which greatly helps with evaluation of the LNB and the condition of coaxial cable (short circuit
• The currently selected polarization H or V
• What signal DiSEqC 1.0 or 1.1 is currently being sent by a tune
• Is signal Tone Burst transmitted and if yes, what kind A or B?
• Presence of DiSEqC 1.2 signals, for rotators control

As standard the device is plugged between a receiver and a LNB and is powered from the receiver.

It can also work with another external power source connected to the device in the place where normally receiver is connected. The required power supply is 12-18 V/0,5 A.
